Alex Boianghu is a Licensed Professional Counselor, providing individual and couples therapy online for clients all over the world. Alex has been a psychotherapist for 30 years and brings his extensive clinical and educational history to life with compassion and wisdom. Alex has an integrative approach which seamlessly integrates four streams of therapeutic approaches: Jungian Psychoanalysis, Somatic Psychotherapy, Trauma-EMDR Therapy, Nondual(East-West) Therapy. Alex approaches each client with the attitude and conviction that there is fundamentally "nothing wrong with you" and the goal of therapy is to experience our fundamental unified wholeness.
Alex holds a Masters degree in Counseling specializing in Couples therapy and several certificates related to EMDR, trauma treatment, yoga therapy, and meditation instruction.
Alex has studied under several preeminent teachers rooted in Eastern traditions and incorporates methods used for thousands of years in helping to heal our wounds and return to a state of Unity-Oneness.
Alex continues to educate himself in the field- most recently completing a year long training program to become a certified meditation teacher, as well as holding an advanced certificate as a Yoga instructor. At the heart of healing, breathwork is essential, and Alex teaches the art of mindful breathing as an integral part of the healing journey.
