Professional statement

Angela Schultz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a virtual practice that attracts clients from across the country. She works with adults seeking personal and life transformation. Many of her clients are motivated, intelligent students of life who have already invested in self-help or therapy and are ready to deepen the connection between what their brains know and how their emotions and bodies respond. Her specialties include life transitions, grief, complex trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, codependency, and relationship conflict. She helps clients to understand how their past experiences and underlying nervous system function influence them, learn practical skills for change, and integrate their experiences in meaningful ways.

Everyone comes to therapy at a different point in their journey, and Angela prioritizes understanding each client’s individual experiences and needs. She wants every client to feel deeply heard and validated. Her style is authentic, insightful, and empowering. Angela helps clients to build on past success and move past stuck points into progress and healing.

Angela’s career has included over a decade of college teaching experience, and she remains passionate about using evidence-based techniques that bring about real change. She is also mindful of the importance of supporting her clients as whole people, and she integrates mental, physical, emotional, cultural, social and spiritual elements as a therapist. She is trauma, somatic, and polyvagal informed. Her hobbies include clinical yoga, reiki, and sound healing. Angela's practice is a safe and inclusive space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and people of the global majority.
