Psychologist, PhDDr. Ashley Junghans-Rutelonis, PhD, LP is a clinical psychologist in teletherapy private practice in St. Paul, Minnesota. She is able to serve clients in 30 states. Her private practice, Bold Wellness, focuses on the mental health needs of high-achieving women. The mission of Bold Wellness is to "boldly focus on the wellness of women in their personal and professional lives." In her individual work, she partners with women as they move towards their values and understanding how these values play out in their life choices. She supports positive forward momentum while also creating space to breathe and confide.
Dr. Junghans-Rutelonis entered the field of psychology due to the unique combination of science and people. She has been working within healthcare systems for over 10 years (Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Mayo Clinic, M Health Fairview, and others) and has unique insight into the challenges faced by women in the field, as well as mothers of children with chronic illness. Women who are in corporate, medicine, mental health, solopreneurs, or mothers with full plates find her to be a helpful partner as they navigate next steps in their lives.
As an evidenced-based clinician, Dr. Junghans-Rutelonis uses an individualized approached rooted in science. Identifying intrinsic motivation, or our why, is at the core of all her approaches. She believes cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is matched well with goals, challenging our thought patterns, and changing our behavior. She also believes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) can help us focus on values, mindfulness, and moving towards the life we choose.
Dr. Junghans-Rutelonis' primary areas of expertise include wellness, burn-out, stress, perfectionism, anxiety, grief, depression, mothers with children who have chronic illness, mindfulness and Central Nervous System relaxation skills, sleep difficulties (CBT-I), and adult ADHD assessment.
