Ashley works with Adults, Adolescents and Families through an eclectic holistic approach. Her 10 years of clinical experience has shown that mind, body and spirit healing is deeply personal and individual which means each treatment plan and approach will be specific to the person. The integration between behavioral interventions and coping skills combined with mindfulness and deeper awareness of self have shown to be most effective within the treatment process.
Adolescent (13-17)- Will work on emotion regulation, coping skills, distress tolerance and issues pertaining to self discovery and development while allowing space for communication with parents around specific needs and difficulties if needed. Teens may not want parents involved in the treatment process which allows them to be more open within treatment. Family involvement will be discussed upon intake.
Adults (18+)- Explore short term/long term goals and create a treatment plan specific to the individual around core issues making it difficult to live a fulfilled life. Weekly accountability worksheets as well as calls in between session if needed for added support.
Families- (All ages)- Through a family systems perspective, work to identify collective and individual needs of the family.
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
