Message to clients

You've always known you were different, but the feedback from family, friends, or even mental health providers has been to "just try harder" to fit in.... And sure, maybe all that hiding and masking "helped" you fit in to some degree -- But why are you still feeling so anxious, depressed, and exhausted?

... And let us not forget: *STILL* different!

I know this narrative, because I have a similar one of my own.... Despite being in the mental health field for over 14 years, it was not until my own journey as a late-diagnosed neurodivergent individual that I decided to open Authentic Therapy Services LLC. My vision is to provide counseling for clients who have historically felt unseen (or even harmed) by traditional approaches to mental health treatment. As a queer, autistic, and ADHD therapist / human, I am passionate in always striving to foster a space that emphasizes safety, validation, and personal exploration in helping clients navigate neurotypical and heteronormative spaces as their true authentic selves.
