I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who provides therapy and supervision via telehealth in RI and CT or in person in East Greenwich, RI. I have over 10 years of experience supporting motivated individuals, couples, and families as they grow their mental health and well-being. I have worked in various clinical settings such as the hospital and healthcare field, community mental health centers, schools, and other agencies.
I enjoy working with parents and families at all parts of their journeys, whether that is during or after pregnancy, blended families, or relationship conflicts. I help those adjusting to major changes, providing them with the tools to manage anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, and many other life stressors. I provide support to help people learn to conquer challenges by reflecting on how past events are effecting them and how to work through that. I use an eclectic approach that stems from a strengths-based perspective to show that everyone is unique and resilient. I use career counseling to guide people to find their passion and purpose. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and other therapies.
I know starting therapy can be challenging but I am here to support you in achieving the rewarding success you are looking for so please reach out if you’re interested in beginning your mental health journey or want to connect for a free 15 minute consultation first. I also have many years of supervisory experience and continue to enjoy providing clinical supervision for those who desire it. I can be reached at 401.541.5886 or JessicaHarrisonCounseling AT g mail.
