Professional statement

Kerri Weaver, a licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Dance Movement Therapist accredited by the American Dance Therapy Association, holds a Master of Arts in Dance Movement Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University. She has dedicated her career to blending dance, yoga, and creative expression with clinical therapeutic practices.

Kerri is committed to transforming the stigma of ADHD into empowerment. Her primary clients include creative professionals, entrepreneurs, and college students, particularly those with ADHD, whom she helps transform potential challenges into opportunities for personal and professional growth. Using a blend of psychotherapy, dance, creative arts, yoga, and personal insights, she offers tailored, holistic therapy.

Professionally, Kerri’s rich background includes being a founding member of a Healing Arts Program at a local psychiatric hospital, where she integrated creative and therapeutic arts in a clinical setting. Her personal experiences, including overcoming challenges related to her unconventional ways due to undiagnosed ADHD, enhance her empathy and effectiveness as a therapist.

She established the Create Balance Healing Arts Collective as a space for women's empowerment and holistic wellness. Located in a welcoming, peaceful, and vibrant setting that promotes healing and self-discovery, the Collective offers both in-person and remote sessions, accommodating clients who prefer the flexibility of virtual therapy. This initiative reflects Kerri's dedication to creating spaces where silenced voices are heard, celebrated, and healed.

With over a decade of professional experience, Kerri supports clients on transformative journeys of healing and self-empowerment, exemplifying the enduring power of empathy and creativity in therapy.

* While we focus on supporting women, we warmly welcome all seeking healing and connection. Our commitment to inclusivity ensures a respectful and nurturing environment for personal growth*

Kerri is recognized as one of ‘Hey Rhody’s Leading Ladies of 2024’

Message to clients

I'm your "out of the box" Mental Health Counselor, Dance Movement Therapist, Yogi and dancer. Known for my quirky personality, I infuse my therapy sessions with creative twists, occasionally sprinkled with curse words. Diagnosed with ADHD later in life, I've transformed this challenge into a creative superpower that enhances my empathetic therapeutic approach.

I aim to transform ADHD from a 'limitation' into a source of empowerment, particularly for creative professionals, entrepreneurs, and college students. Recognizing that healing is deeply personal, I respect and support each individual’s unique journey toward wellness, mindful of the diverse roles and challenges each woman faces.

My sessions promote holistic well-being by blending creative expression, movement, and personal storytelling with innovative ADHD management strategies, creating a safe, out-of-the-box therapeutic environment. This approach fosters a strong partnership that can be transformative, equipping you with tools to manage life's complexities.

If you're ready to turn your ADHD challenges into strengths and creatively take control of your life, I'm here to guide and support you. Let’s embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment together—where your voice is not just heard, but celebrated.
