Leah Petrucci is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Holistic Health & Lifestyle Coach. She works with women ages 25 - 75 through a telehealth setting using Zoom or the Phone. Many of Leah’s clients struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, Codependency, and chronic illness/pain. Leah is particularly passionate about serving women who are highly empathic/sensitive, single or divorced, recovering from a narcissistic partner, have chronic pain/illness, or are entrepreneurs.
Leah follows an Integrative/Holistic approach, using methods such as Polyvagal Theory, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy/Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Spiritually Integrated Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique/Tapping, Psychodynamic Therapy, Energy Psychology, and Exposure & Response Prevention. These modalities involve changing negative thought patterns & core beliefs, learning how to enjoy the present moment, tolerate stress, process and regulate emotions, learning better communication & relationship skills, releasing trapped trauma stored in the body, regulating the Fight or Flight response, and discovering how adult behaviors have been affected from adverse childhood experiences. These approaches support clients to feel more relaxed and present, to feel heard and validated, and to feel more focused and motivated towards achieving their goals.
Leah also provides Holistic Health & Lifestyle Coaching, where she guides clients with an array of health and wellness issues to make healthier decisions in the areas of mind, body, spirituality, and relationships.
Leah's style is compassionate, non-judgmental, and goal-oriented. When clients first start therapy, Leah will work to understand the client's past history and set attainable goals together, and she will establish a strong alliance and provide a comfortable environment where clients feel safe and heard.
Outside of private practice, Leah loves to sing, dance, and cuddle with her kitty. She also enjoys escaping into a good movie or TV series, often while coloring with her glitter pens.
