Lisa Ganz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides telehealth therapy services to individuals and couples who are struggling to find connection, purpose, meaning, or their way around this world. The clients who tend to gravitate towards her are the creators, the overthinkers, the dreamers, the highly sensitive, the spiritual, and the misunderstood. Clients who work with Lisa learn how to navigate the various aspects of their internal and external experiences from thoughts and emotions to relationships and interpersonal dynamics. Lisa also has over ten years of experience working with people in recovery from addictions.
Lisa approaches each individual or couple with curiosity and compassion first and foremost. It is important to her that above all else, client's feel safe and heard. Lisa draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Brainspotting, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Lisa's therapeutic style is a creative mixture of narrative therapies and somatic practices that help clients rewire their nervous systems while also helping them rewrite their stories as they unfold.
Lisa is currently pursuing a PhD in Transpersonal Psychology as she is particularly interested in helping people integrate non-ordinary experiences such as spiritual, psychedelic, out of body, and near-death experiences into their understanding of mind, body, and spirit.
Lisa is committed to co-creating a supportive and exploratory space with her clients. She believes that healing starts with a foundation of safety and honesty that is established in a shared therapeutic environment. She is committed to building a genuine human to human connection with each person that she works with.
