Rodman is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (#130999) and a Registered Addiction Counselor with additional training in EMDR. His clinical and professional experience includes working in diversely populated, community counseling clinics as well as outpatient treatment centers to treat mental health disorders including: depression, anxiety, addiction & substance use, grief & loss, and trauma. He has created presentations and spoken to various business organizations on the value of mental health & wellness. Rodman also hosts webinars, educational events, and trainings for other mental health clinicians as well as workshops for clients. Rodman incorporates his previous professional business experiences as well as his personal journey into his practice which is located in Redondo Beach, CA.
He works with individuals, couples, and groups with a large focus on relational/relationships issues where he assists clients in exploring their family-of-origin, developmental experiences and attachment styles. He also specializes in grief & loss, addiction, anxiety & depression, and trauma. Rodman uses an eclectic therapeutic approach including attachment theory, psychodynamic theory, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy, and relational therapy to address various issues to treat the whole person. His aim is to support his clients so they see noticeable change and improvement through new coping skills and tools while also treating underlying themes so they have the opportunity for a transformative growth experience through the course of therapy.
Rodman hosts private workshops and creates content & resources on topics related to mental health for clients and other professionals through partnerships and collaborations with wellness platforms. He also offers psychedelic integration & preparation for select clients.
