Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, LPC-AShelley is an LPC-A (Licensed Professional Counselor Associate), works with LGBTQ+, individuals, couples & families, and has extensive experience working with children 10+ and teens. She is also highly skilled in working with neurodivergence (including autism) in youth & adults, and the associated thoughts and behaviors. She provides talk therapy (psychotherapy), psychoeducation, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) as her primary therapeutic modalities. In a session, Shelley focuses on what her clients say and works with them to navigate through their concerns.
Shelley received her B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development from San Francisco State University and her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She is a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS) and is a member of the ACA (American Counseling Association) and the ACAC (Association for Child and Adolescent Counseling).
