HeartWise Psychotherapy offers telehealth throughout California (Rebecca Love is also licensed in Colorado, South Dakota, and Rhode Island) and in-person therapy in Fair Oaks, California. Our group practice offers individual, couples, co-parenting, and group therapy for teens and adults.
The therapists at HeartWise Psychotherapy offer multiple evidence-based therapy modalities. They specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, activating both sides of the brain to process through difficult feelings or memories. Clients work through their feelings of fear, anger, sadness, and disappointment with the support of a compassionate, experienced therapist. Clients also learn how to set boundaries with others so that they can focus on and articulate their own needs confidently and conflict-free, which may be new for them. The therapists at HeartWise Psychotherapy help clients set goals for themselves, and offer strategies and perspective along the journey. Clients learn to live through their values and to practice self-compassion to become their most authentic selves.
Therapy with our clinicians might be a little different than what you may have experienced before. We offer a no-nonsense, personalized approach designed to teach you the coping skills that will work in your life, and show you how to operationalize those skills to bring immediate relief. You can expect our therapists to utilize clinical and real-world experience to meet you where you are at and help you get where you want to be. Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder).
Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
