Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSWShe/Her/Hers
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSWHarriet Rosetto is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 35 years of experience in the mental health field. Harriet specializes in helping those in recovering from substance use, as well as their loved ones. Many of Harriet’s clients’ lives have become challenging as the result of substance use. Their relationships might be strained, with chronic conflict, especially in the presence of relapse or roadblocks to recovery. Harriet also helps those with compulsive behaviors, codependency on others, and those going through major life transitions.
Harriet integrates multiple therapy modalities to offer clients services tailored to their individual needs. She brings together clients’ psychology and spirituality to offer them a comprehensive idea of why they are and what they believe in. She isn’t afraid to ask clients difficult questions about ideas about the meaning of life. She uses Internal Family Systems therapy to help clients understand the different parts of themselves, including these different parts’ competing needs. She also uses voice, dialogue, and shadow work to help clients uncover their true feelings. She then supports clients as they bring all pieces together to share their narrative, which can be a powerful exercise as clients come to terms with their past decisions. She encourages clients to process through their heavy emotions and to work towards healthy relationships with their loved ones.
Harriet enjoys bringing humor into her work with clients, keeping sessions warm and empathetic. She at times uses her personal experiences to connect with clients, and draws from her vast experience helping others as she offers gentle guidance and redirection. Clients learn how to live according to their values and beliefs, and leave therapy with a better understanding of what changes would be healthy for them so they can live a comfortable, connected life.
