Professional statement

You feel stuck, like your feet are submerged in thick, dark mud. A stack of boulders weighs down your shoulders. The vibrant, juicy person you used to be feels so far away. Your voice – and your ability to speak up for yourself – is caught in your throat. A critical voice in your mind judges every little thing you say or do, so you’ve stopped taking risks. At work, you feel like an imposter, and your lack of confidence is making it hard to strive for your goals. In relationships, you feel like a small, timid version of yourself. You are so DONE with this stuckness, so ready for change, but you have no idea what to do.

As your therapist, I will be a co-explorer on your journey of transformation. Using mindfulness tools that draw on mind, body, and spirit, you will learn to shift your relationship with your self-critic and build compassion for yourself. Together, we will rewrite your stories about yourself and let go of intergenerational patterns that keep you stuck.

Imagine: life feels ripe with possibility. When your self-critic gets loud, you take a deep breath and find kindness for yourself. Conflict doesn’t scare you, and you are able to speak up for yourself, your values, and your dreams. You feel alive, powerful, and playful. All this is possible! Call me now to schedule a free consultation to get started.

Message to clients

I believe that you know yourself best. I won’t tell you how to “fix” yourself or your life. But I do have tools to help you find trust in yourself, speak with your authentic voice, and connect to your power.

My holistic approach is tailored toward your specific goals and desires. First we will identify the places you are stuck, the beliefs that are holding you back, and your goals for growth. Then, together, we'll start exploring, to see which tools and techniques resonate with you in your journey of healing.

Your transformation will sometimes be painful, sometimes joyful, often mysterious. I'm excited to discover where it will take you.
