At Deeper Than Color, we specialize in providing culturally responsive and affirming therapy for Black people and other people of color. We understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with living in a diverse and complex society. We also recognize the impact of racism, oppression, and discrimination on your mental health and well-being. That’s why we offer therapy that is sensitive to your cultural background, identity, and values. We help you explore how your race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, class, religion, and other aspects of your identity affect your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We also help you cope with the stressors and traumas that you may face as a person of color in a predominantly white society. We empower you to celebrate your strengths, embrace your differences, and find your voice. We also help you connect with your community and culture, and find meaning and purpose in your life.
At Deeper Than Color, we believe that you deserve a safe and empowering space to explore your identity and culture in therapy. We understand how racism, oppression, and discrimination can affect your mental health and well-being in profound and lasting ways.
