Message to clients

As an Integrative therapist, I can take a passive role, listening deeply, offering reflections, and giving you the space to share and feel heard while you unpack the contents of the deepest and less illuminated corners of your being.

I can hold the space, witness your process, and allow you to unload, unpack, and interpret.

A more active and directed approach also can be taken. This may include building coping skills, providing educated advice and feedback, expanding community resources, enhancing communication skill development, performing active trauma treatment, developing time and personal goal management, and teaching you practical strategies that you can use in your everyday life.

If you work with me, you can expect to take a deep dive into your past, project into the future, and examine what you are doing now that is contributing to your status quo. If we find trauma, I have the tools to help you resolve it.

My approach depends on you. Where are you on your journey? How ready are you to make a change? Do you need, insight, action, external resources?

I will not ignore your background or the effects that your racial, ethnic, and cultural heritage play on your current situation.

A combination of approaches from cutting-edge developments in the field, including neuroscience-informed interventions, practical philosophy, cognitive behavioral therapy, couples and family therapy, trauma treatment, and multi-cultural competency will be used to help you find a better way forward.
