Practice Information

At Create Outcomes, we help people overcome anxiety, depression, loss, and relational difficulties. Our approach is an integration of psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral modalities, which means we will explore the way you experienced the world from birth until present in order to identify habits and behaviors that have become roadblocks to living in alignment with the person you want to be. We utilize LifeMaps, a collaborative treatment plan where you can track progress and see your therapy notes. The Map is your treatment plan translated from clinical terms to language that better represents the work we do.

We embrace an expansive view of the individual and collaborate with clients to explore how their sense of self, past experiences, environment, and culture, impacts their current moods, relationships, experiences, and self-beliefs. We will work together in identifying what areas of life you would like to further explore to best reach your goals/growth in this process of self-discovery.

FAQS

How does payment work at your practice?

We accept Aetna, Humana and Northwell Direct commercial plans. We are an out-of-network provider for all other plans. Most insurance plans provide out-of-network benefits and we’ve found that most of our clients who have a PPO are able to get 50-80% of each session reimbursed after meeting the deductible. Use our Benefits Check on our website to estimate the amount your insurance will reimburse per session.

What services does your practice offer?

We are devoted to supporting individuals and families in growing toward their highest potential. Our philosophy is founded on a belief that each individual and family we serve is unique, with its own culture and needs. Therefore, we take a holistic approach, offering guidance in many accessible forms. We currently offer: Individual Therapy, Couples Therapy, LGBTQ+ Affirming Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Part Identification + Integration, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy.

What are your practice's specialties?

Our LifeMap approach is informed by psychodynamic theory. The premise of psychodynamic therapy is making the unconscious (what is not readily in our awareness) conscious. The techniques of this modality help you gain insight into your inner processes and behaviors that you may not be consciously aware of. This process helps us become aware of patterns that occur in our behaviors, thoughts, emotions, and relationships. This theory also holds the belief that our past experiences greatly impact our current experiences and relationships.

Why should I choose your practice?

Transparency is the foundation of our collaboration with you. We will recognize the strengths you already have and you will have access to the work you accomplished. Together we asses the effectiveness of the tools we have given you, and we make the necessary adjustments along the way.

As a team, we bring years of training and a range of experiences. We’re here to listen, apply our knowledge, and help you take it from here.
