Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, LPCCManali Deolalkar identifies herself as a South Asian woman and a therapist of color who aims to create space for clients to support their mental health well-being. Her practice is rooted in building self-awareness, curiosity and self-compassion.
Using a combination of relational and psychodynamic therapy, Manali supports her clients to bring about awareness into their childhood experiences, relationship with their caregivers and attachment patterns that play a role in their present world. Additionally, Manali is also trained in utilising a range of evidence based approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy to bring awareness into our thoughts and emotions. Manali aims to support her clients to accept thoughts and emotions without judgement and explore ways to cope with them.
As a South Asian women, Manali understands the stigma associated with seeking help in certain cultures and the courage that it takes to start caring for your mental health. Her own experience with low self esteem has motivated her to understand and work with clients to heal their critical inner voices and help them gain resilience and balance.

Work stress - Managing overwhelming stress and expectations; increasing effective ways of restoring and maintaining emotional stability and health; addressing challenging relationships with coworkers and bosses
Women's issues - Therapy tailored to common concerns among women; providing a safe and understanding space to address life challenges, stressors, and questions around identity as a woman
Emotion regulation - Learning how to effectively manage the ups and downs of intense emotions; developing coping skills to use in a variety of settings to calm oneself and to give an appropriate amount of space to emotions
