Professional statement

Dr. Stacy Reger is a Psychologist located in Redondo Beach, CA. Dr. Reger is passionate about supporting clients who arrive at therapy ready to make healthy change in their lives. Many of these clients face grief that leaves them overwhelmed and feeling stuck. Other clients suffer from the fallout of relationship conflicts with loved ones or coworkers and want to find ways to manage their emotions while working towards a resolution. Sometimes, these situations can lead a client towards depression or another mental health condition.

Dr. Reger helps her clients process through these difficult emotions. She creates a calm,  comfortable atmosphere where clients can open up about how they’re feeling and what’s happening in their lives. Dr. Reger brings Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques into her sessions with clients, where she teaches clients to increase their self-awareness and to identify harmful thought patterns that can lead to distressing emotions. She takes a psychodynamic, interpersonal approach and strives to build a strong, trusting therapeutic alliance from the first session.

Dr. Reger earned her PhD from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She has experience working with clients who face chronic illness, loss of a loved one, low self-esteem, communiation issues, and the stress of caregiving. Her style is positive and warm as she supports her clients’ growth towards a more comfortable daily life.
