Rubin Therapy LCSW, P.C. offers personalized individual and couples therapy session's in New York and New Jersey. We offer virtual sessions in New York and New Jersey, and some select in-person sessions in Brooklyn, New York. All of our therapists are highly trained Social Workers.
Founder Emily Rubin, LCSW-R, is a graduate of New York University's Master in Social Work and has completed postgraduate trainings in Family and Couples treatment, and Sex Therapy. Emily enjoys working with individuals and couples around topics of dating, relationships, sexuality, kink/BDSM, non-monogomy, career changes, depression and anxiety.
Michael Tunick, LSW, practices virtually from New Jersey and received his Master of Social Worker training from Rutgers University. Michael specializes in working with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, anger control, family conflict, and stage of life uncertainty. He uses a combination of CBT and Psychodynamic therapies and is bilingual, offering sessions in Spanish and in English.
Rosa Ruey, LMSW practices in Brooklyn New York and offers sessions in-person and virtually. Rosa graduated from Hunter College where she received her Master of Social Work training. Rosa's enjoys working with couples and individuals and specializes in subjects related to relationships, couples therapy, attachment injuries, parenting, family conflicts, stage of life changes, depression and anxiety. Rosa has also completed trainings in couples and family therapy and is psychodynamically trained.
Tess Riabokin, LMSW, works virtually with New York State clients. Tess is a Licensed Master Social Worker, having graduated from New York University. Tess Post-Masters training at the Gestalt Institute of the Rockies, The Internal Family Systems Center for Self-Leadership, and is a registered Ashtanga Yoga instructor. Tess draws from a variety of modalities, specializing in clients working through attachment injuries relationships and dating stressors, loss, anxiety and depression.

Rubin Therapy is comprised of Licensed Social Workers trained to support you on your therapeutic journey. Rubin Therapy provides virtual therapy sessions to clients in the New York and New Jersey regions, and in-person sessions in Brooklyn, New York. Rubin Therapy works with clients across the age spectrum, starting with young adults (18+) and ranging into retirement (65).
We practice cultural competency, and accept patients with diverse backgrounds including age, race, gender, religion, sexual preference, orientation, and non-monogamous relationships.
How does payment work at your practice?
We are in-network with Aetna and Cigna insurances and bill those insurances directly. We provide superbills for all clients using out-of-network insurance benefits. Rubin Therapy is open for new client inquiries. Out-of-pocket fees range $125-$300.
