Dr. Nissenson Glied helps individuals struggling with issues such as anxiety, panic, depression, and obsessive compulsive disorder. She has postdoctoral training in the treatment of psychological problems arising from trauma. Dr. Nissenson Glied also works with couples dealing with communication and intimacy problems.
Dr. Nissenson Glied specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These interventions have been recognized as among the most effective for treating anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma.
Dr. Nissenson Glied is also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). In DBT, clients are taught coping skills such as mindfulness strategies and emotion regulation techniques to manage mood changes, relationship problems, impulsive urges, and difficulty with concentration and focus.
