Psychologist, PhDDr. Michael Alcee is a psychologist in Westchester, NY who specializes in life transitions, relationship issues, creative pursuits and challenges, and men’s mental health. His practice is open to college students, as well as adults in their 20s and 30s.
When clients visit Dr. Alcee, they’re often facing difficulties in navigating the transition to adulthood. They may be experiencing disappointment having not yet figured out their career goals, or feeling settled in their romantic relationships. Dr. Alcee helps clients confront these and additional stressors, such as perfectionism, in order to prioritize self-satisfaction and comfort. It is Dr. Alcee’s goal that clients who are struggling to determine their meaningful path in life are able to chart a course that blends their passions and interests with their values and personality.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Alcee works at the Manhattan School of Music. He greatly enjoys working with creative professionals, including musicians, actors, and singers, helping them find their personal link between between the artistic and psychological processes.
