Mindful Urgent Care

Same-day mental health services

Accepting new clients for morning, afternoon, evening, & daytime appointments in NoMad, FiDi, and Hempstead practices (updated November 17, 2019)

Mindful Urgent Care is changing the way Americans access mental health care. Asking someone who is deeply distressed to wait weeks or months for mental health care is dangerous and impractical. Mindful Urgent Care centers offer same- or next-day appointments, providing treatment to people in need of it right now. Their centers are designed to put patients at ease, preparing them to get started on a carefully mapped-out road to recovery.

Mindful Urgent Care specializes in medication management, and group therapy/coaching. Their typical client is struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, or addiction, and are seeking interventions that include medication and therapeutic support to make long lasting lifestyle changes.

Mindful Urgent Care has a commitment to prescribing medications safely, and does not prescribe: Xanax, Klonopin, Ativan, Valium, Adderall, Vyvanse, Ritalin, Conceta, Ambien, and opioid pain killers.
