Message to clients

I understand from personal experience how difficult it can be to seek out therapy and to find someone who you truly connect with. Research shows it is not the therapeutic techniques which are most healing but rather the therapeutic relationship between client and practitioner. I focus on building a strong alliance with my clients and creating a place where they can talk about anything and everything while feeling safe and accepted. I understand change and growth are not easy and work with clients to pace their therapy in a way that feels both safe and also challenging. Growth comes from going outside one's comfort zone. Together we will build on your existing strengths and also work on developing skills such as effective interpersonal communication, how to relax yourself, mindfulness, and insight into current thought & behavioral patterns.

If you think we could be a good match feel free to reach out! I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation.
