Talia DiPietro is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Larchmont, New York who provides trauma-informed care for clients who may be experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, or anxiety. She also specializes in relationship issues, including managing emotions, resolving conflict, and issues of self-esteem and self-worth.
Talia recognizes that learning to practice self-care is specific and unique to each of us. She can support you in developing this practice, and in tapping into your strengths and resilience. Talia’s style is both encouraging and direct. She believes that therapy can be used as a tool to learn real-life skills you can use outside of therapy. Through your work with Talia, you will be able to shift the way you respond to stress, cope more effectively with depression, let go of unhelpful beliefs that aren't serving you, and find the confidence and motivation to take care of yourself.
In addition to her training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and insight-oriented therapies, Talia also offers skills training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, helping clients to feel more centered and grounded in their daily life. She provides both short-term and longer-term care for clients, depending on their present needs and interests.
