Victoria’s treatment approach is rooted in Team-CBT, which is an integrative evidence-based model that involves different schools of psychotherapy. This means she first meets with clients to gain a better understanding of their symptoms, triggers, and past experiences. She then allows time for clients to connect with her and learn to trust her. This includes receiving feedback from her clients on what is or is not working. She wants to ensure her treatment methods are the right fit for each client before diving in. Life can get pretty complicated. We sometimes feel overwhelmed and discouraged when we try our best to help ourselves, only to feel more stuck.

By tackling factors that contribute to resistance to improvement, challenging our belief in streams of thought, and re-examining behavior patterns, I offer approaches for us to not just try harder, but more efficiently and with more compassion towards ourselves.

Many techniques that are practiced in session quickly become my clients’ own skill-set to use on their own outside of the therapy room. I also ensure a balance within this approach so that clients have the necessary time and space to explore and reflect upon their inner experiences at their own pace.


Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)

Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life

Relationships - Understanding one’s wants and needs in relationships; exploring patterns of interaction, addressing concerns, and strengthening satisfaction in relationships and dating

Mindfulness - Practices to encourage a state of active, open attention to the present

Anger management - Addressing sudden outbursts of anger or sustained resentment; developing healthy anger expression and outlets

Stress management - Strengthening effective ways of coping with the stress of life and change; managing expectations of self and others
