Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSWJessica Shoflick is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New York City, welcoming all individuals who are seeking support. She works primarily with adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, life stressors, self-esteem issues, interpersonal relationships and life transitions. Jessica has a genuine curiosity of people and their life stories, while mindful that everyone's journey and trajectory is unique. Her professional experience working with individuals in a multitude of clinical settings has deepened her skill set and sharpened her ability to highlight the source of her client's concerns.
Jessica's approach to therapy is humanistic and collaborative. Leading primarily with a deep sense of compassion, she also utilizes formal modalities including psychotherapy, CBT, trauma-focused and mindfulness based tools. Jessica encourages clients to feel autonomous in each session, voicing their primary needs while also adhering to broader themes in order to attain distinct set goals.
With a background in education and experience working with children and families, she received her Masters in Clinical Social Work at Columbia University and has since worked in a variety of clinical and healthcare settings. She is excited and eager to support her clients' to feel more empowered in their lives.
